Q: What are the wedding license requirements to be married in Hawaii?
A. Proof of age is required - by Hawaii state law, you must be at least 18 years of age. Photo ID is required. Blood tests are not required by the State of Hawaii. Our Maui wedding specialist will be happy to assist in setting up your wedding license appointment and providing application forms.

Q: Do you perform ceremonies on the beach?
A: If you are interested in a "beach wedding", we would be more than happy to recommend a minister for you to contact directly.
We perform and coordinate weddings here on our lush grounds. Our ocean view wedding locations are closed off to the public during the ceremony to ensure privacy. The beaches on Maui are "public" and cannot guarantee privacy. Hawaii liquor laws restrict any alcoholic beverages to be served on our public beaches.
Q: Can I create my own menu?
A: Yes, our food and beverage experts are happy to create a menu that reflects your wishes. Click here for catering menu options.
Q: Can I taste all the food before the wedding?
A: Of course; we could certainly pre-arrange a tasting for any of our “hand serviced” dinner menu items (up to 3 different 4-course menu selections); please schedule several weeks prior to your wedding. Pricing is included in our Catering Menu Options.
Q: How long will my reception last?
A: Generally, a wedding reception is planned for 4 hours. You can extend the time if desired. Please note that Maui has a Noise Curfew of 10:00pm for any outdoor functions.
Q: Can I have an open bar at the wedding?
A: You can elect to have an open bar, a limited selection of wine and beer or a cash bar.
Q: Do you have suggested vendors for flowers, music, photography, etc?
A: We work on a regular basis with several preferred vendors. Our wedding specialist will be happy to assist you.
Q: Can I host a morning-after brunch or a rehearsal dinner at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa?
A: Certainly. We have several locations that are appropriate for these occasions.
Q: Are taxes and gratuities included in the pricing?
A: No, your contract pricing will not include taxes and gratuities. Please remember, pricing is not final until a signed contract is returned.
Q: Can my guests have a late check-out the morning after the wedding?
A: We will try and accommodate your guests' requests, however this will be dependant on the occupancy of the hotel and handled by the Front Office directly.
